Israel's Pulsenmore Brings At-Home Pregnancy Ultrasound to Ichilov's Lis Maternity Hospital

Pulsenmore, an Israeli developer of home ultrasound devices supported by remote medical guidance, has announced that its technology will be integrated at the Lis Maternity and Women's Hospital at Ichilov, a major center for women's and maternity care in Israel. In its announcement, the company — listed on both the NASDAQ and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange — said Lis joins other Israeli medical centers that already incorporate the technology into pregnancy monitoring pathways, expanding its presence in central Israel.

The hospital will adopt a hybrid monitoring model that combines checks at the hospital or clinic with the option, for eligible patients and in accordance with the medical team's instructions, to perform certain ultrasound scans at home. The model is designed to let women continue part of their pregnancy monitoring in their home environment, maintaining their daily routine as much as possible while remaining under the guidance of their care team.

Pulsenmore's home ultrasound currently operates in Israel under three models: a nationwide service supported by a medical interpretation center operated by Clalit Health Services; a "Hospital at Home" model that incorporates home ultrasound into home hospitalization services and is implemented at several hospitals; and the hybrid model for monitoring high-risk pregnancies.

"The addition of Lis marks another significant step in expanding access to home ultrasound in Israel," said Dr. Elazar Sonnenschein, Pulsenmore's founder and CEO. He added that expanding the company's presence in central Israel allows it to focus on making the service accessible to women in northern and southern Israel as well, where patients living far from medical centers who require frequent monitoring could gain significant value from scanning at home.
